Coastal Adventure Wedding in Palos Verdes, California
Alright, let’s talk about Karla and Sean’s epic fall coastal wedding in California! First off, they had their sights set on one of the dreamiest spots for a destination wedding: Palos Verdes. Specifically, the historic Wayfarer’s Chapel designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1949. This iconic all glass chapel sits in a grove of redwood trees with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island but here’s the heartbreaker—Wayfarer’s Chapel, closed its doors in February 2024 due to shifting land in the Abalone Cove area. There are currently plans to disassemble the chapel to save it from destruction.
Capturing Love by the PacificAfter exchanging their vows, Karla and Sean took to a rocky beach along the Pacific Ocean near Terranea Resort for some seriously swoon-worthy photos . Think epic cliffs, crashing waves, and that dreamy Cali light! The couple’s love shined through a mix of digital and medium format film shots—giving us all the coastal vibes and seriously stunning ocean views.
Feasting & Fun in LAThe celebration didn't end there! They hit up downtown LA for their reception, turning a vibrant Brazilian restaurant into party central. No stuffy traditional schedules here—the couple ditched the formalities and opted for a laid-back vibe where guests could mingle, dance, and celebrate love with Brazilian beats and killer food.
Whether you're planning your own California wedding or dreaming of a Southern California destination wedding, Karla and Sean's day is filled with some dreamy ocean vibes and perfect coastal destination wedding inspo!
